John Harris, P.E.: Chairman, Board of Directors John has served as Board Chairman since July 2006. He has been a KCA board member for four years, and previously served as Board Secretary and as Chairman of the Transportation Committee. John earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He has worked as a civil servant at the Naval Air Warfare Center for the past 25 years. John served in both Latin America and Europe as a short term missionary. He met his wife, Tita, in England while working with Operation Mobilization among Asian immigrants. He later went on to work with church planting teams in Spain and with Muslims in Philadelphia. He currently serves as an Elder and Worship Leader, as well as in the Youth Ministry, at Faith Bible Church. John and Tita host a Small Group Bible Study in their home each Wednesday evening. John and Tita have three children all of whom attend KCA. |

Sarah Patterson: Administrator Emeritus Sarah is KCA's founding administrator having served in this position since KCA's inception. Sarah is a graduate of Radford University with a BS in English and Elementary Education, and holds an MS in Educational Administration from the George Washington University. Sarah felt God's call to Christian education as a young girl. She is committed to the transmission of her faith in Jesus Christ to the next generation through Christian day schooling. As a member of Lexington Park Baptist Church, where she has served in many leadership roles, Sarah initiated and chaired the committee that established the Lexington Park Baptist Preschool. Sarah taught kindergarten and preschool for five years. She was a member of the committee that founded Lexington Park Christian School, now known as The King's Christian Academy. Sarah has taught in both Christian and public schools and colleges from preschool through college level English. |

Kevin Fry: Administrator Kevin is the administrator of The King's Christian Academy. Kevin is a graduate of George Fox University with a BA in Writing/Literature with additional course work in School Administration, Curriculum and Language Arts. Kevin and his family served as missionaries in Guatemala for 10 years. While there Kevin was Principal of Christian Academy of Guatemala. Previously he served as Principal at Columbia Middle School and Vice Principal/Dean of Students at Riverside High School in Oregon. Kevin taught for 4 years before his administrative years and has continued to teach classes when needed. He has been responsible for overseeing building improvement projects, starting innovative programs, and has overseen extracurricular activities. Kevin is married to Ardella and they have five children. |
