Registration Fee is due for each student registering for enrollment in KCA. The KCA enrollment process begins when a family signs the registration fee for each student they desire to enroll in KCA. The enrollment process is complete when the student's(') name(s) is(are) listed on the appropriate class roster and all preparation for his/her(their) enrollment are completed. The first payment of the school year is due to Tuition Management Systems on either July 1 or July 15, 2008. The remaining payments are due on the same day of the month for the next succeeding 9 or 10 months. Tuition Management Systems will assess a $30 late fee if they do not receive a payment by the due date.
Late Enrollment, Disenrollment
LATE ENROLLMENT – Families, who enroll their student(s) after the school year begins, will pay tuition based on the number of months remaining in the school year, regardless of the number of days in attendance in the first month. Tuition is computed based on a ten-month school year; e.g. tuition due for a student enrolled in September is nine-tenths of the full year tuition.
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS – In order to pay our teachers their salaries on a regular, routine basis, we encourage our families not to allow their tuition account to become delinquent. We request our families to place their tuition payment on the top of their monthly payment list. Unfortunately, we must treat those families who do not comply with this request in a fair but firm manner. Specifically,
-
Returning families may register their students for the next school year when their tuition and fees account is current.
-
Registered students, whose first month’s tuition is not paid by July 15, will be moved from the enrolled students list to the waiting list. His/Her place on the enrolled students list will be given to a student on the waiting list who has paid their first’s month’s tuition.
-
A student may start attending school when their first month’s tuition is paid.
-
A family, whose tuition and fees account is 60 days delinquent, must make special arrangements with the KCA School Board Treasurer to enable their student(s) to continue attending school.
-
A family will receive their report cards and/or records and transcripts after the school year is completed when their tuition account is paid in full.
-
A senior will be permitted to attend graduation ceremonies when their family’s account is paid in full.
-
Tuition accounts, more than sixty days delinquent, are subject to referral to a collection agency. A thirty-five percent collection agency fee will be added to these accounts.
